John McHughan is a consultant at Summa Strategies, supporting clients in a diverse group of industries including, health, environment, transportation, and sports.
John helps to make sense of the day-to-day business of government and monitors how government actions will impact clients.
Prior to joining Summa, John worked for Ontario’s Minister of Economic Development, Trade and Employment, providing support to the Minister in his twin roles as both Minister and Member of Provincial Parliament. John also has experience volunteering in constituency offices and on both Provincial and Federal election campaigns.
John was raised in Toronto and earned a Bachelor of Arts (Hons.) degree in Political Studies from Queen’s University and a Master’s of Political Management from Carleton University’s School of Public Affairs.
